Joe Jozefovic is one of the founding Principals and Managing Partners of SimbaCare, LLC, who owns and operates skilled nursing facilities in the Hudson Valley and Central Region of New York State. With over a decade of experience in long-term care and healthcare operations, Mr. Jozefovic prides himself on his family tradition of excellence in creating comforting, safe and supportive environments for residents and staff where individualized programs are designed to enrich the lives of those served while ensuring quality of stay. Mr. Jozefovic takes further pride in being present and accountable to the residents and employees; visiting each of his facilities on a weekly basis, making connections and ensuring a rapid response to the everchanging needs of the industry to ensure the teams at each of his facilities are equipped with the optimal means necessary to provide steadfast care. Mr. Jozefovic has experience as an Administrator in operations and regulatory compliance for skilled nursing facilities in Westchester County, NY, where together with his team they delivered exceptional care and services worthy of a 5-Star CMS rating for nearly seven (7) years running, as well as multiple-deficiency-free NYSDOH inspection surveys.
Lizer Jozefovic
(1999 to present, experienced in LTC since 1993)
Lizer Jozefovic is one of the founding Principals and Managing Partners of SimbaCare, LLC, who owns and operates skilled nursing facilities in the Hudson Valley and Central Region of New York State. With over thirty (30) years of long-term care healthcare experience, Mr. Jozefovic prides himself on supporting the needs of those he serves through weekly in person rounds, high-quality care and supporting and responding to the changing needs of the community through community partnerships with the local and regional hospitals, Accountable Care Organizations (ACO), educational institutions, and community-based home-care service groups, which enhance the quality of care provided. His comprehensive approach ensures the residents receive the most innovative and expert care possible, while compassion and dedication keep the focus exclusively on the individual needs of the residents served. Mr. Jozefovic’s objective in the facilities he owns and operates has been focused on the development of geriatric nursing and subacute rehabilitation programs to ensure the fiscal health of these enterprises. Mr. Jozefovic is directly involved in all the overall operations of the facilities and reviews all developmental efforts. He also holds all his facilities’ dedicated team members in the highest regard. This leadership practice and involvement ensures that each facility can assume their place, with financial confidence, on the cutting edge of health-care.
Ari Kreismann
(2014 to present)
Ari Kreismann is one of the founding Principals and Managing Partners of SimbaCare, LLC, who owns and operates skilled nursing facilities in the Hudson Valley and Central Region of New York State. With more than ten (10) years of experience in contracts, purchasing and support services, Mr. Kreismann acts as liaison between each facility, healthcare vendors and the centralized payables office. He seeks new and innovative products to assist in the care of the residents, accordingly, improving their quality of life and works to secure the best pricing for the group of nursing homes on necessary supplies and services, thus monitoring and ensuring financial viability.
Mr. Kreismann’s fiscal responsibility and leadership are principles that ensure continued facility growth and sustainability for all key stakeholders served. His creative approach was instrumental in helping his facilities navigate the COVID-19 Pandemic in an innovative manner through the stockpiling of PPE for resident support and care.
Mr. Kreismann has experience in procurement corporate purchasing for a large healthcare system in Westchester County, NY, where he honed his skills of understanding the needs of the facilities, staff and patients by weekly rounds and frequent interactions and conversations with those he serves.
